Colourful Christmas at Nova Brisbane

Nova 106.9’s Christmas Party last Friday showed that life is colourful at Nova Brisbane.

Staff celebrated with a costume party themed “What’s At the End of the Rainbow.”

From pots of gold, unicorns, a bottle of Tequila, a slice of pizza, to breakfast host Kip Wightman hilariously dressing as his wife Amber, there were plenty of things and people found at the end fo the rainbow.

The Saturday breakfast show “Thank God it’s Thaiday” team came as the Spice Girls, with league legend Sam Thaiday as Scary, Kimberley Busteed as Ginger and Katie Mattin as Posh. Producer Nick came as Sporty Spice and General Manager Jay Walkerden as Baby. Everyone got into the spirit.

Staff celebrated a cracking year for the station including multiple survey wins in 2017, 1 engagement, 4 babies, 3 marriages and no deaths – especially the fact that no one killed “Pablo”, the Axolotl in Marketing Director, Dee’s office, when she went on long service leave.
