Commercial station a Hit in Kingaroy ratings

The first ever radio ratings for Kingaroy in south-east Queensland has been released as part of the industry’s regional radio surveys program.
 
Hit 89.1 South Burnett is the station listened to most with 23%, followed by ABC Southern Queensland with 16.3% and 4SB 7.8%.

In breakfast Hit 89.1 was #1 with 24.1%, ABC Southern Queensland followed with 20.5% and ABC Wide Bay 7.1%.

Kingaroy is the home town of former Queensland Premier Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen, and is known as the “peanut capital of Australia” because it is home to Australia’s largest peanut processing plant.
