2RRR, the community station in Sydney’s Ryde are on a mission to connect and share ideas with other stations.
2RRR Chair Dino Mancini and Station Manager Natalie de Silver organised a catch up at Burwood’s 2RDJ where 2RDJ Chair Daren Richardson provided a tour of the studio, coffee, nibblies and a chat. Daren and Natalie are pictured in the 2RDJ studios in the main picture.
The conversation was about how the two stations can collaborate, how to generate more membership, community consultation and how to write successful grants.
The upcoming CBAA conference from October 17-19 on the Gold Coast brings community radio stations together, but this is a great initiative, closer to home, for stations to find ways to support each other.
