Control room fire effects 4CC and Hot FM Gladstone

A fire in the control room of the Gladstone Radio Centre has limited the activities of 4CC and Hot FM.

Both stations are still on air, but have no network feed, or any maestro playout system feed, so are not able to fulfil all their commercial commitments. The station anticipates rescheduling its advertising commitments once its systems are back on line.

Phones to the station have also been affected.

A technical team from Macquarie Regional Radio Works’ Gold Coast station is working to get the equipment back up and running.
