CONVERGE 2026 announced for Cairns

CONVERGE 2026 will be held from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 September 2026 at the Pullman Cairns International, in Cairns. The First Nations Media Australia (FNMA) annual conference brings the First Nations media industry together to learn, share, connect and collectively shape the future direction of the sector.

CONVERGE 2026 will be co-hosted with Bumma Bippera Media, recognising their strong leadership and contribution to First Nations media in Far North Queensland.

The 2026 program will follow the established CONVERGE format, including:
• A First Nations Digital Inclusion Forum
• Two days of industry learning, sharing and networking
• Engagement with government, partners and key stakeholders
• A celebratory evening recognising excellence across the First Nations media sector

Further information, including registrations, detailed program content and travel subsidy arrangements, will be shared soon with FNMA members.
