Crash FM on air from Swinburne’s commercial radio course.

Students in Swinburne’s Commercial Radio course are showcasing their skills by producing a live broadcast for two weeks from next Monday October 17th.  The station, named Crash FM, will begin on air at 7am Monday and run until Friday October 28th at 6pm.

 
The programming includes a breakfast show (7-9am Mon-Fri), a drive show (4-6pm) and general music shows during the day.

 

A different style of program will broadcast after 9pm including love songs, indie, metal and retro. The students have also created their own website with profiles, Facebook page, blogs and Twitter feeds.

The commercial radio course at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne has been run by Jim Barbour for 23 years and the program covers all aspects of the commercial radio industry.
