Darren Kirsop-Frearson leaves Bridge Networks to start own company

Darren Kirsop-Frearson has left his position as Managing Director of The Bridge Networks to begin his own company Broadcast ONE Pty Ltd, in an amicable arrangement which sees some restructuring at Bridge Networks and Frearson’s company picking up some of the radio transmission work previously done by Bridge.

Kirsop-Frearson, who also recently revealed himself as the brains behind the new digital radio comedy station The Crack, has told radioinfo:

“The Bridge Networks has agreed to move its product representation agencies and certain support obligations to Broadcast ONE Pty Limited, a company that I own independently. This will allow TBN to concentrate on its system integration business.”

Bridge Networks and Kirsop-Frearson were instrumental in the roll out of digital radio in Australia and supplied and installed a range of DAB+ equipment on the digital radio multi-plexes.

Broadcast ONE has now become the in-country representative for various transmission products including Harris Broadcast transmission products, the Harris Broadcast Video/Audio/Data products and the Factum DAB+ product range.

Former Bridge Networks transmission engineer, Philipp Nigsch will also join the new company.

Broadcast ONE will shortly move to new premises in North Ryde, Sydney.
