Dave Gleeson focusing on Triple M and Screaming Jets

Dave Gleeson, out the front of classic Australian rock band The Angels, were the last band I saw before we went into lockdown in February 2020. He, and they, were great.

Gleeson had become the front man for The Angels in 2012, while also on air at Triple M hosting Access All Areas and Rock of Ages.

At the end of January 2022, he re-joined the station with a new show, Triple M Nights with Dave Gleeson, broadcasting across Australia from 7-10pm, out of his home base of Adelaide.

He, and The Angels, posted this week that he has decided to leave the band, focus on a new studio album with original band The Screaming Jets and the Triple M radio show, saying his dance card is now full.
