While driving a cab

In a past life Marto has been a builder, a cabbie and has played for the Wallabies. Today he’s is a respected member of Brisbane’s Triple M Grill Team. But he still drives a yellow cab once a week to keep him, “grounded.”

Last week, The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, agreed to an interview with Marto for The Grill Team. But Marto was rostered on for his Yellow Cab shift at the only time Springsteen was available.

Since some of the best stories are heard by cabbies, he decided to combine the two. He drove out to The Boss’s sound check and did the interview, hence he’s in his Yellow Cab’s uniform.
