Nova and Smooth FM listeners were treated to an unforgettable experience last Saturday, with 12-time ARIA Award winner Delta Goodrem performing an intimate set at the stunning Dune mansion in Queensland’s Burleigh Heads.

The evening saw NOVA Entertainment, in partnership with Dream Home Art Union and EssenceMediacom, bring music, connection and purpose together.

Hosted by Smooth FM’s Cameron Daddo, the night was a celebration of world-class entertainment and meaningful brand collaboration.

The partnership with NOVA, brokered by EssenceMediacom and developed by WPP Media’s Sport & Entertainment team, offered listeners the chance to win the $13 million Burleigh ‘Dune’ Dream, plus the chance to see Delta perform live at the mansion.

The set opened with ‘Wings,’ with Delta playing up the lyrics “Everybody’s looking for a new horizon” gesturing to the house, before introducing her guitarist, and now husband, Matt Copley, to the delight of guests.

Delta played to the theme, dressed in a shimmering gold, revealing she herself had purchased tickets in the ‘Dune’ draw.

She also showed off her powerful command of the white baby grand piano that was craned into the house especially for her performance.

The set continued with several of her iconic songs including ‘Lost Without You,’ and ‘Innocent Eyes,’ but also featured a few surprise covers from Fleetwood Mac and Whitney Houston.

Delta then went off script and left the stage to host a sing-along of her hit song ‘Sitting on Top of the World,’ where she walked through the audience inviting people to sing – and dance – with her throughout the song.

Delta returned to the stage to close out her performance with her empowering hit ‘Born to Try,’ as a summer storm lit up the sky behind her.

Lucky winners from Nova and Smooth FM enjoyed flights, accommodation and a memorable performance.

Notable guests in attendance included executives from WPP, RSL Queensland, NOVA Entertainment, Nova on-air presenters and media.
