vega 91.5fm has announced a special East Timor Revisited concert to for this Wednesday to allow Dicko, Dave and Chrissie listeners the chance to experience first-hand Dicko’s tour and the performances that entertained the troops.

Joining the breakfast trio at Melbourne’s Chelsea RSL will be Dicko’s performing troupe, fresh from four shows last week for Australian troops in various areas across East Timor, vocalist Ian Moss, singer and Australian Idol finalist Mark Spano and comedian Jeff Green.

Dicko has also enlisted Dave O’Neil to perform standup on the night.

Donations will be collected on the night with all money raised going to Legacy, an organisation of veterans, service men and volunteers who are dedicated to the care of the dependants of the Australian Defence Force.

While Dicko has accepted many challenges during his time on the vega 91.5fm breakfast show, from tackling a professional wrestler and taking over a restaurant to performing stand-up, it was his tour of East Timor that has left a lasting impression.
