Could this be the start of something big?

Ian “Dicko” Dickson, will host The Two Murrays Afternoon Show for three weeks, starting 3 September.

Regular hosts Murray Olds and Murray Wilton leave this weekend for a 2UE listener tour of Europe.

Program Director Peter Brennan said Dicko would host the shift solo, starting next Monday. “We’re delighted to have Dicko on board at 2UE filling in for The Two Murrays,” he said.

“Dicko has an enormous personality, a great intellect and a very bright future in talkback radio,” he said.

Dicko said he was relishing the opportunity to fill in on Australia’s oldest radio station.

“This is a great opportunity and I’m really looking forward to engaging with the 2UE listeners. The Two Murrays have a terrific show and it’s a privilege to be filling the hot seat while they’re away.”

The Two Murrays return to their regular on air afternoon shift on Thursday 20 September 2012.
