dmg Radio Australia has partnered with Lipton Chai Latte Winter Festival, Australia’s largest outdoor winter entertainment event, which commences in Sydney and Melbourne on 29 June.
This is the second year that dmg Radio has partnered with the Lipton Chai Latte Winter Festival.
Nova and smoothfm will provide the soundtrack, live outdoor broadcasts and music to complement The Lipton Chai Latte Winter Festival’s skating rink, Alpine-inspired cuisine and fully licensed bar.
Tony Thomas, dmg Radio Australia’s Group Marketing Director said, “This is a very different and unique event that is the perfect fit for dmg Radio’s Nova and smoothfm brands. It combines great entertainment, live music and a fun atmosphere at Australia’s largest skating rinks. More importantly it appeals to a broad spectrum of people from kids and teenagers to adults.”
The festival will position a large outdoor rink on the sands of South Bondi Beach in Sydney and the St Kilda Sea Baths in Melbourne from 29 June to 15 July.
During the festival, the Lipton Chai Latte Lounge will offer a warm space to relax after ice-skating, and hand-out free Lipton Chai Lattes. The Alpine Ski Hut, a traditionally themed mountain chalet, will also be featured in the festival, serving mulled wine and hot chocolate in front of an open fire.
Listeners can win tickets to the Lipton Chai Latte Winter Festival on Nova and smoothfm or tickets can be booked through winterfestivals.com.au.
Nationally the Winter Festivals are expected to attract over 500,000 people both day and night with increases expected during the school holidays.
