Double J has a re-vote on the 1998 Hottest 100

Double J has dialed back the clock 20 years and replayed what it terms as one of the best and most controversial Hottest 100 countdowns in history, from 1998.

If you tuned in you’ll remember huge showings from Australian artists like Regurgitator, Powderfinger, You Am I and Jebediah, as well as legendary tracks from Hole, Radiohead, Fatboy Slim, The Living End and more.

But it was The Offspring’s Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)’ that fatefully took out the #1 spot as the best song of the year.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, so Double J are offering the chance to recast a vote in the 1998 Hottest 100.

Head to Double J to vote… again!

Find out if history will repeat itself, when Double J announce the ‘in-hindsight’ #1 song of 1998 on Wednesday 6 February on Mornings with Zan Rowe.
