Duffy Provides the Counterpoint

Publisher and newspaper columnist, Michael Duffy, will present a new commentary program, ‘Counterpoint’ on Radio National.

The program will examine a range of social, economic and cultural issues in Australian life, challenging assumptions, and developing new and some seldom heard commentators. It will air on Radio National each Monday at 4pm (EST) from 17 May.

Radio National’s on air team already includes Phillip Adams (Late Night Live), Terry Lane (The National Interest), Michelle Grattan and Gerard Henderson (regulars on RN Breakfast), and Bruce Shapiro and Beatrix Campbell (regulars on Late Night Live).

Duffy is a columnist for The Daily Telegraph and The Courier-Mail, and is principal of publishing company, Duffy & Snellgrove, with authors including Peter Robb, Les Murray, Rosalie Ham and John Birmingham.

He wrote ‘Man of Honour’, a biography of John Macarthur. His next book, ‘Latham and Abbott’, about the lives and rivalry of these two politicians, will be published in August.
