Mr Campbell, who had pleaded not guilty to several common assault charges earlier this year and was due to fight allegations in court today, Thursday 30 November, has changed his plea to one charge while all other charges have been dropped.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph (subscription) Mr Campbell has confessed in court to a single count of common assault.

Mr Campbell and ARN spokespeople have been contacted by this masthead. They were not immediately available or comment.
