Ed Sheeran’s iheartradio live performance screens on Channel 11 this weekend

To celebrate this week’s release of his brand new album X, Ed Sheeran fans can tune in to Channel 11 this Saturday morning to catch the intimate iHeartRadio Live performance that was recorded in Sydney in April.

Exclusive to KIIS 1065, the event saw the British singer-songwriter perform tracks from his brand new album and give a fresh spin on some of his most well-known hits. With the feel-good groove of the album’s first single Sing, combined with stripped back acoustic moments, and a generous serving of Sheeran’s infectious energy and charm, it is one show not to miss.

Screening at 11.30am this Saturday, June 28, the show will also give fans the chance to see why iHeartRadio is the world’s fastest growing digital music service, with access to the hottest artists and giving fans the power to customise their music or tune in to live radio, anytime.

This Australian iHeartRadio Live event was only the second for 2014, and the second successful partnership with a Warner artist, following iHeartRadio Live with Kylie Minogue in Melbourne. These events follow on from the renowned US iHeartRadio Live series that have been held for artists such as Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Shakira.
Launched in Australia in late 2013, iHeartRadio’s digital music service combines custom music and live radio, covering 1000 live radio stations across all ARN, New Zealand’s TRN and Clear Channel’s US stations.
The service uptake has exceeded expectations, engaging audiences across all ARN content platforms, with 364,000 app downloads.
Reaching 30 million registered users faster than any digital service in internet history, iHeartRadio is the No. 1 all-in-one digital service in the US with more than 60 million monthly unique users across its network. With a library of more than 18 million songs and 450,000 artists, iHeartRadio’s Custom Station feature offers listeners more music than any other service available.
