If you’re an announcer and it hasn’t happened to you, you probably haven’t been in radio long enough. The other day, the “mic ogre”, the bad fairy that makes the operator forget to turn the mic off, paid a visit to the MIX 102.3 breakfast show in Adelaide.

This time the victim was Jodie Blewett, the gentle female – the rose between the two thorns, John Riddell and Snowy. She’s the one expected to keep things family friendly.

Unfortunately for her, most families would have choked on their corn flakes when they heard on-air what was meant to be a private conversation off-air.
