Emma Freedman joins Jules Lund on SCA’s new Scoopla show

Emma Freedman will join Jules Lund as co-host of the new national nightly Scoopla show, beginning next Monday

The new show will be heard weeknights from 6pm on SCA’s Hit Network, covering the world of entertainment and pop culture.

Freedman says moving into radio is “really exciting. I guess working with my mate Jules should be OK too! Honestly though, we’re both full of energy and can’t wait to get this show on the air”

No stranger to red carpets and the bright lights of entertainment, both Emma and Jules are “the perfect hosts for this show.”

Jules is the experienced entertainer and social media guru and Emma definitely knows a thing or two about the realms of lifestyle, fashion and celebrity.

The former weather presenter on Channel 9’s Weekend Today show was also a regular on Wide World of Sports and considered a rising star at the Nine Network until her contract was unexpectedly not renewed just before Christmas last year, making her available for the radio gig.

Head of Today Network Dave Cameron said: “Emma Freedman is an absolute knock-out new talent for radio, and combined with Jules Lund’s experience and passion for radio and social media this new daily show will continue to establish Today’s Hit Network and it’s phenomenal entertainment platform ‘Scoopla’ as the only go to destination for ‘what’s hot today’ for Under 40 females.”

The show will be heard on 31 stations nationally for an hour every night as Jules and Emaa take a fun look at the day’s top stories in showbiz.

Scoopla is the number one entertainment brand in the country on mobiles.
