Entries for the 2020 NZ Radio Awards open Monday 3 February and close Monday 2 March 2020.
Entrants will be required to register as a user at www.rba.co.nz/nz-radio-awards and follow an easy step by step process for submitting an entry through the website.
Like last year, a written submission template is required to be completed for most categories with the aim to make the entry process easier for all entrants and provide a simpler & more standard process for judges.
One of the major changes to the awards for 2020 is the way ‘Sir Paul Holmes Broadcaster of the Year’ is awarded.
The award was created in 2014 to honour one of New Zealand’s most well-known radio broadcasters and nominations must be for a broadcaster that displays a truly outstanding performance in the previous year and who embodies the attributes of the legendary Sir Paul Holmes – brave, courageous, clever, challenging and prepared to make an impact.
The 2020 NZ Radio Awards finalists will be announced on Tuesday 28 April and the winners at the Awards ceremony on 4 June 2020 in Auckland.
