Sydney community station FBi is currently running tests before a planned full-power launch date of August 29.

Technical Director Tim Traeger interrupted his work wiring up a Krone block to tell radioinfo:

“We are currently on 5 Kw from a low stack at Gore Hill… there is no one calling to report interference problems, but we have had a listener ringing up to say what a sexy voice Christina has on the test tape.”

The station will soon increase its power and has the option to move to a greater height on the tower to achieve maximum Sydney wide coverage.
