Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox’s breakfast show, Fifi, Fev & Nick are hours into a Guinness World Record attempt at the longest marathon for a radio music show DJ (team).
The record is for the longest time to act as a DJ and continually announce during a live radio broadcast.
As a result of the attempt, Breakfast hosts Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody, plus their anchor Josiah Shala, will take over The Fox radio station for 27 hours straight, from Thursday, 1 June 6.00 am AEST to Friday, 2 June 9.00 am AEST.
The team will host Breakfast, Mornings, Afternoons, Drive, Evenings, Nights, Late Nights, Dawns and then Breakfast again.
They will be joined by a range of guests throughout the record attempt, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Carrie & Tommy, Tones and I, Hamish & Andy, Eddie McGuire, Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, Peter Helliar, Ant Middleton, Larry Emdur, Marty Sheargold, Billy Brownless and Karl Stefanovic.
