First radio students in Australia trained on RCS Zetta

Central Institute of Technology (CIT)students are the first to be officially trained in RCS Digital Radio Automation software Zetta.

The college, which runs youth station Boom Radio, is the only training institution within Australia to use the new RCS program that’s rapidly becoming the industry standard in digital radio automation software.

 CIT is dedicated to software knowledge with all students equipped in RCS Zetta, Pro-tools and Adobe Audition & Premiere training.

Boom Radio has been radically gaining a larger presence throughout 2015, with over 3400 total Facebook likes and a post reach of over 53,000.

CIT/Boom Radio first began using Zetta in July 2014 as a test run during 2nd semester studies, 2015 is the first year in which all students from the Diploma and Advanced Diploma radio courses will leave trained in the Zetta software that they use on a daily basis.

Course Coordinator Phillip Vinciullo says, “We’re very proud to be the first radio training facility in the country to work with Zetta.
