First sessions have been announced and earlybird registrations are open for this year’s CBAA conference.
Community broadcasters and industry experts from around the country will head to the Gold Coast 8-10 November, with hands-on sessions covering leadership and managament, station tech, content programming, finances and community engagement.
Sessions just announced include ‘Secrets of Successful Boards and Committees’, a half-day workshop presented by Patrick Moriarty, Executive Director – Institute of Community Directors Australia; Plenary: Why diversity in media matters, presented by Antoinette Lattouf, Director of Media Diversity Australia; and ‘7 Essential Reports for a Community Radio Station Manager’, presented by Mick Devine, CEO Calxa, who will cover cashflow forecasts, budget reports and more in a way that’s understandable to non-accountants.
