From the ‘could it really happen’ file, there is a rumour doing the rounds that outgoing ABA chief, David Flint, could neatly slot in as Maurice Newman’s replacement on the ABC Board.

The speculation has been fuelled by reports of Flint lunching yesterday with ABC Chairman, Donald McDonald.

Flint, who finishes up with the ABA in a couple of weeks, has already already ruled out a return to academic circles.
