Fresh claims the top spot for Community stations in Adelaide

Adelaide’s youth radio station Fresh 92.7 is claiming the spot as Adelaide’s No 1 community station, following the release of the McNair radio ratings, which reveals the station has grown by 20,000 overall listeners per week.

Their new Breakfast Team, Davo, Tom and Callum, launched only 6 weeks before the ratings period, managed to grow their share by 10,000 listeners per week.

Cale for the drive home increased his listener base by a huge 28,000 listeners.

On top of this record-breaking survey, Fresh has appointed a new workday announcer, Tayla Mezzino (pictured).

Tayla is another Fresh success story, having had multiple roles at the station since 2018 and now landing a role as part of the flagship on-air team.

A music enthusiast who is Tayla says she is thrilled to be taking up this new role, Ive been at Fresh for 5 years now and the station has really become a home away from home for me and to be given the opportunity to connect with the people of Adelaide every workday is something that is such a privilege and I cannot wait to get stuck in!”

Content Manager of Fresh 92.7, Sophie Campbell says the Survey results along with Mezzino’s appointment is fantastic news for the station.

“It’s been a huge year for Fresh92.7, first a new Brekky trio, and now a new voice for our workday. Tayla is exceptionally talented announcer, and her vibrant personality makes her the perfect pick to have fun with Adelaide and to embrace Fresh’s genuine passion for music and the local community! Tayla will make an exciting addition to our on-air team!”
