Townsville has a new addition to the breakfast menu with Get Up with Adam & Donny launching on Star 106.3 this morning.

Adam Davison joins Donny (Tom Watkin) from Launceston’s Chilli FM with plenty of experience and passion for creative, community-driven content. He replaces Archie Arenson who has joined the Sunshine Coast’s 92.7 MIX FM.

When recruiting Donny’s new copilot, we wanted someone who could drive as fast as Donny, change lanes smoothly in a split second and someone who genuinely wanted to join a winning team and have fun. Adam was that person.”

The show doubles down on STAR 1063’s & ARN regionals commitment to being live, local and agile. Adam & Donny pride themselves on being ready to react instantly to whatever’s happening across the city.  If something goes down on The Strand or at Riverway, they’ll be there, probably faster than recommended!

Donny said:

Adam jumps straight in the deep end, meeting nearly 10,000 locals this Sunday as he and Donny host the pre-show at Carols by Candlelight. The STAR 1063 team then bring in New Year’s Eve on The Strand in a major event for the station and network.
