The West Australian has reported that Gary Adshead is leaving 6PR for a role at the ABC. There was no sign of the decision during Adshead’s Morning program today with the station having seen significant change in October.

Julie-anne Sprague, host of Afternoons, and Tod Johnston, on Nights, have left due to cost cutting measures. 9News Perth‘s Gareth Parker has moved to Sydney to take up a newly created role as Nine Network News Content Director. 6PR Content Manager Emily White is leaving at the end of November after 14 years with the station and overnights host Jon Lewis was replaced with Tony McManus from 3AW in Melbourne in April.

Nine Radio will apparently reinvest in its Direct Sales capability to boost revenue but there will be few familiar faces next year to build that revenue around.
