From Monday January 19, Georgina Marckwald will be heard on air on KIIS 97.3 in Brisbane from 10am – 3pm weekdays. The move is a return to local for the KIIS Network after Jess Miller made way for Gordie Waters to network workdays to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in March 2024.

Georgina was made redundant from her role as Mornings Announcer and Music Director at KIIS 97.3 last January. She pivoted to a podcast called The Lunchbreak which is taking its own lunchbreak now for the foreseeable future.
