98.7 Sea FM‘s Jay and Dave are the longest running Breakfast Show in Mackay / Whitsundays.

Yet they don’t have a billboard or at least they didn’t.

The boys approached their boss Steve Hetherton, who said if they got enough shares on social media supporting a billboard then it would be considered.

The campaign then developed a life of its own with Sunrise even showing their support.

So the boys reached the goal and the boss caved in.

Their billboard goes up Monday on the Bruce Highway heading into Mackay from the south, located at Bakers Creek
