The Great 4BC Nova Mascot Race

The Brisbane Broncos Gold Coast Titans match won’t be the only excitement at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

The inaugural 4BC / Nova mascot race will take place on the field prior to the game with 5000 dollars going to the winning mascot’s nominated charity.

4BC has taken on the Heart Foundation’s giant red heart for their mascot on the night, whilst Nova will have Nova Boy running for the cash for the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.

The race is schedule for 6.50pm and mascots will run from east to west on the field (70 m).

Competitors for the big race are:

– The Titans …. Titan Man (Gold Coast Titans Community Foundation)

– Hog’s Breath Café …. Hog (Prince Charles Children’s Ward)

– Ergon Energy …. Power Man (Royal Flying Doctors)

– Toyota …. Constable Clancy (Police Citizen’s Youth Club)

– Broncos …. Broncos Horse (Diabetes Foundation)

– Queensland Roar …. Roary (TBC)

Insiders are tipping Powerman, followed by the Broncos Horse but this will depend on the surface at the time of the starter’s gun.
