The long running Hi Tide Fishing And Boating Show looks set to wrap up on Sydney’s 2SM after discussions on the program’s future stalled with the new Super Radio Network management team.
After more than three decades on air, the program hosted by Kieran Reekie and Alan Blake will not air in its regular spot this weekend, with no date set for a return.
The show team said on Facebook:
“Hi Tide is Australia’s longest running Fishing and Boating program and the partners involved remained hopeful of finding a solution by keeping the lines of communication open and will look at exploring other options.
We also remain committed to continuing the legacy, as a voice of recreation fisher people and the boating industry.”
