Dave “Higgo” Higgins will commence the Drive show on Gold 104.3, taking over from Gavin Miller commencing January 1st, 2022.
Higgo says, “I am so excited, and feel proud to be stepping into Gavin Miller’s shoes and am gunna try my bloody hardest to keep the great ratings going that he as built up over the past 10 years.
“A shout out to the Gold FM family who have made me so welcome and encouraged me over the past 4 years, I’m bloody stoked to be joining the family. What this means however, is that I will be stepping away from Triple M Hard n Heavy.”
Content Director GOLD104.3 Sue Carter says, “I’m really excited to announce Dave Higgins will be the host of GOLD104.3’s drive show in 2022. For the past three years ‘Higgo’ has been one of the stand out stars of GOLD104.3’s weekend line-up, as well as stepping in to cover weekday shifts whenever needed.
“Already loved by our audience, he brings with him many years of experience broadcasting to Melbourne, complimented by a deep passion for music.”
