It’s been a big weekend for Nova 919 Breakfast host Liam Stapleton with the presenter popping the question to long term partner Sarah Crisanti.
After four years together, Liam dropped the knee while on a weekend away at “The River Vista” at Monash in the Riverland while celebrating Sarah’s 26thbirthday.
Liam told his other long term partner and co-host, Ben Harvey, as well as listeners this morning, “Well, I took her away for her Birthday… I took her up to the river and there was a nice spot on the hill, looked out across the river. As the sun was going down we were having a few drinks and I got on one knee and popped the question.
“I bought the ring two months ago but we went on holidays… I’ve obviously known for a while and you don’t ask if you don’t know they’ll say yes but we were on holidays recently and we came back and we were locked down and we had all that time together and I was like ‘yep, this is me… I’m made up for the rest of my days’.”
Clearly overjoyed with emotion a very teary Sarah said “Yes”.
Ben popped the question to his partner Samantha ‘Sam’ Wallace in January this year.
