History, as community radio covers the 2015 Budget

As the Macquarie Radio Network prepares to broadcast the Federal Budget for the first time, so too does community radio.

A team of 11 volunteers will go into the Budget lockup to bring the most extensive coverage and analysis in community radio history.

Following directly after the treasurer’s address to Parliament 2SER’s Daniel Healion will cross to The Wire‘s Catherine Zengerer, journalists from 2SER, CAAMA and SYN as well as experts from UTS Business School including Dr David Bond.

The team will drill into the Budget and cover issues including Indigenous affairs, Education, Health, and Foreign Aid. They’ll be looking at the big picture as well as the alternative stories.

The coverage begins at 7.30pm on 2SER 107.3 in Sydney, or 8pm on the Community Radio Network.
