Hit consolidates top spot in the west


Radio ratings for the mining city of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia have been released in the first radio survey conducted in the area since May 2016.

Hit 97.9 continues to be the station listened to most stretching their lead to 35.8%, followed by Triple M Goldfields 981 with 30.8% abd ABC Goldfields with 12.3%.

There were further gains for Hit in Breakfast sitting #1 with 37.4%, followed by stablemate Triple M with 28.6% and ABC Goldfields 13.8%.

The survey was undertaken for CRA between the 19th of June and 8th of July 2017, by XTra Research.
