After six weeks of their $20K Balloon Drop promotion, Hit90.9 gave away a combined total of $20,000 to 100 local Gold Coast finalists.
Since the start of May, the Hit90.9 team travelled around the Gold Coast distributing flyers in letterboxes.
Recipients had to scan the flyer’s QR code to go into the draw to be selected as one of the 100 lucky finalists this morning.
In partnership with RE/MAX Regency, this morning breakfast host Ben Hannant was in-flight on RE/MAX’s hot air balloon from Firth Park Mudgeeraba, where he threw a total of $20K (in form of plastic balls) out of the basket.
Whatever amount landed in the finalists’ allocated plot, they took home.
