Popular racing podcast back for another season.
As horse racing enthusiasts gear up for another spring season ABC NewsRadio’s popular racing radio podcast Hoof On The Till returns this week, fittingly on the birthday of all horses, August 1st
Over the next four months racing journalist, veteran reporter and colmnist for The Sydney Morning Herald Max Presnell and journalist and broadcaster Helen Thomas will preview of all the major races of the season culminating with the 153rd Melbourne Cup Carnival in November. The duo will speak with Australia’s top jockeys, trainers and bookies and profile the outstanding horses along with egular guests including Gary Crispe, head of Timeform Australia; Deane Lester, RSN’s form doyen and Shelley Hancox, breeding expert.
Max Presnell has said: “This is always an exciting time of year for those of us who love this great sport and I’m looking forward to watching another great Spring of racing unfold.”
Co-host Helen Thomas shard his enthusiasm saying: “Hopefully, the Hoof On The Till team is like the really good horses we all love to follow; we get better and stronger every year!”
