Hope, healing and living life in colour – KIIS 97.3’s Robin Bailey, and her sons, share the story to now in a new book

In time for Mother’s Day 2026 you can pick up a copy of KIIS 97.3 breakfast host Robin Bailey‘s new book, Flamingos Aren’t Born Pink. It will be a story of hope, healing and living in colour, and that journey and rainbow will continue after she, Kip Wightman and Corey Oates depart the station on December 12.

Robin started on air in Brisbane in 1995 and has given a voice to others who have lost loved ones and that there is hope and joy that can follow. This time her sons have their own chapters to speak candidly about mum and how their own lives were impacted by the death of their Dad by suicide, and later Robin’s second husband Sean Pickwell to liver cancer.

You can preorder the book here. It will be released March 31st, 2026.
