Despite plenty of discussion over whether we actually needed a local version of the reality (and we use that word with raised eyebrows) show “Real Housewives” – we now have one.

Society watchers around the country are abuzz ahead of the Real Housewives of Melbourne premiere this Sunday. Never ones to be left out, Triple M’s Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire last night held a huge bash with the real Real Housewives in attendance.

The champagne was flowing and the Louboutins were out in force as the Real Housewives of Melbourne cast joined Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy  from Triple M’s Hot Breakfast, plus 300 glammed up all -girl listeners, at an exclusive preview screening of the first episode of the show.

 The event, which took place at the Crown’s Groove Live Bar & Terrace, had some of Melbourne’s leading ladies in attendance who indulged in cocktails and canapés while they got the first peek of the show.
