Hotsource, soon on radioinfo

Music directors, programmers and announcers who choose their own songs will have their lives made a little easier with a new initative coming soon to radioinfo.

Commercial stations are now regularly spot playing unsigned artists, but one of the more time-consuming jobs for the already time-poor MD is to wade through the boxes of demos, to find that perfect fit for the station.

Each week radioinfo will spotlight one great new song from an independent Australian artist. Each song will be handpicked by Hotsource, a website that champions unsigned Australian music.

Their site has gained credibility in the industry through unbiased reviews, covering all genres of contemporary music. As the site is purely for Australian artists and bands, it’s much easier for local acts to stand out form the crowd.

Hotsource will provide a hook of the song and if you like what you hear, you will be able to click to hear the full song, read a short review, and the artist’s bio. From there you can then decide if the song has what it takes to add to your station’s buzz bin.

Expect to see a page dedicated to new Hotsource music on radioinfo soon. In the meantime you can check out their full website by clicking below.
