Nova 93.7’s Breakfast Team Nathan, Nat & Shaun spoke to the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over the phone in an impromptu chat, after setting Greg Hire from the Perth Wildcats the task of seeking the PM out.
 
Luckily Greg stood out in the crowd at Perth’s Hyatt Hotel, being an extremely tall ‘political reporter’, he was ushered into the room for a photo with Mr Turnbull, and successfully got him on the phone to the Breakfast Team.
 
After many unsuccessful requests to speak to the PM, Nathan, Nat & Shaun couldn’t believe their ears when Mr Turnbull was handed the phone.
 
Nat said “We thought this wouldn’t happen so much that we didn’t even prepare any questions – hence why we asked about his neck ties! Our expectations were quite low – we thought it might just be some fun content- and Greg Hire delivered! Mission Impossible wasn’t so impossible after all.”
 
Mr Turnbull spoke about the Liberal Party’s key election promises, and explained why the election campaign was a particularly long one, due to the timing of the double dissolution.
