This morning it was Clive Palmer’s turn to embarrass himself on 2Day-FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show. Kyle challenged the Prime Ministerial hopeful to “twerk.”
For his part Kyle admitted that he shared some of Mr Palmer’s qualities: “We’re both big men,” he told his audience. Looking at the two of them across the desk from each other, you can see what he means.
Mr Palmer had no idea what twerking meant until Kyle obliged with a demonstration.
Then it was the mining magnate politician’s turn. He acquitted himself admirably, much to Kyle’s approval, leading him to declare, “You just got the young vote in one move. I’m voting for you as well.”
Ain’t this a great country, where we judge our politicians on their ability to twerk?
I believe that the best Palmer can do to shake hands with Bob Katter and humbly go to the Commonwealth Bank with their caps in hand and repay the $ 208 billion dollars debt that was accumulated in the past 6 years by the Governing party.
That would make both of them prime candidates to become a reasonable chance to be an Independent prime minister.
Furthermore I would advertise for the various jobs.
A respected doctor as the Health Minister, a well known economists to be the Treasurer. a transport expert as the Roads minister, a well know administrator/manager to be the infrastructure/development minister, a hard core battle scarred soldier to be the Defence minister and so on.Dilettants and professional party members we do not need anymore.Sam
It is still time for Mr Palmer and Mr Katter to shake hands and go to the Commonwealth bank and repay the $ 200 billion debts accumulated in the past 6 years. Than advertise for every portfolio for Ministers, experts in their field not professional Party members. Leave the Unions out of Governing. Get rid of industries that are doomed and concentrate on our incredible know how in fields that we are the best and sell it to the world. Like the Swiss, they have cows, mountains & watches but their finance and banking is world wide and the profit makes them a very rich. country.
