Hughesy & Kate’s national KIIS  Drive Show broadcast event from Sydney this afternoon at The X Studio under the Coca-Cola sign in Kings Cross.
  
The evening kicked off early with ARN’s clients, agencies and media, including radioinfo, treated to bubbles and canapés while enjoying a behind the scenes look at the Hughesy & Kate show in full swing, live on air in the state-of-the-art broadcast studio.
 
The show was filled with the usual fun, story-telling and banter between the duo … with Hughesy giving special mention to some of the local colour of the Cross which he soaked up on a walk before they took to the airwaves. 
 
Following their show, Hughesy & Kate mingled with industry guests for a drink and a chat before entertaining the crowd with a fun, quick-fire Q&A session with their drive anchor and iHeartRadio Countdown host Matty Acton.
 
Hughesy & Kate air nationally on the KIIS Network – Sydney’s KIIS 1065, Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1, Adelaide’s Mix 102.3, Brisbane’s 97.3FM and Perth’s 96FM.

Talking to agency clients after the show, Hughesy and Kate discussed the success of their drive show and how good it is to work together. They told guests they are not worried about the impending shake up to the drive time slot with the re-emergence of Hamish and Andy. “We do what we do, we don’t worry about anyone else,” they said.
