I&G sales agency to represent RPH network

The national radio network for the print-handicapped, RPH, has appointed I&G Media as its national sales representative.

Australian Radio for the Print Handicapped (RPH) “provides a vital radio service that meets the needs of people who cannot access printed material for a variety of reasons. 500,000 Australians are vision-impaired and a further 1.4 Million are print-disabled.” With over 10% of the population suffering a print disability, almost 2 million people can’t access printed material.

RPH provides and facilitates access to a wide range of printed material, reading directly from the daily major newspapers, magazines, brochures, books and more. The Network enjoys the support of mainstream media who waive copyright to permit national dailies and specialist magazines to be read on air by volunteers.

80% of the Australian population lives within the RPH Australia network area which has stations nationally, in Canberra, Albury, Sydney, Bendigo, Mildura, Melbourne, Geelong, Shepparton, Warragul, Warrnambool, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart.

I&G Media’s Lee Hubber told radioinfo: “I&G has enjoyed a long association with the RPH stations, and formalising the relationship is a vote of confidence in our performance to date. Radio for the Print Handicapped is the single, best medium to reach Australians with a disability.”
