- Heating Up: Riton & Nightcrawlers up 81 spins to No.18 with ‘Friday’
- Biggest Mover: Glass Animals’ ‘Heat Waves’ up 126 spins at No.11
- New Music: Nick Jonas lands at No.40 with ‘This Is Heaven’
Riton, Nightcrawlers, Mufasa and Hypeman enjoyed a lift this week as ‘Friday (Remix)’ rose to No.18 on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart. The collaboration earned spins across 11 stations nationwide with the Nova network showing the strongest support, accounting for almost 65% of the week’s airplay and averaging 56 spins per station. This is the highest point the track has reached since its release 12 weeks ago with a total of 429 spins.
Glass Animals remained at No.11 this week although the track enjoyed the highest spin increase of 126 instances. The KIIS network collectively added 93 spins – 48 in Sydney and 45 in Melbourne, followed by the Nova and Hit networks.
Nick Jonas delivered new music to the chart with ‘This Is Heaven’ earning a spot at No.40. The release earned spins on 18 stations during its fifth week of tracking. 101.9 The Fox was the top spinner, adding 20 instances, while collectively the Hit network increased last week’s airplay by 37%, moving the track inside the Top 40.
