On June 3, 2018 Uber is picking up Australia’s pre loved goods and delivering them to the Red Cross – for free, for a fundraising Fashion Show.
KIIS FM’s Jackie O has been named MC for the fashion show, described as a ‘media and influencer’ event.
‘I’m really proud to be a supporter of Red Cross, who help so many people in need no matter who you are or where you live. So clear out your closets and donate your pre-loved clothes to Red Cross,’ said Jackie.
Open the Uber app between 12pm and 4pm, select Red Cross Clothing Drive card, tap request and confirm pick up location and where available, Uber will do the rest of the work, pick up clothing free of charge and deliver to the nearest Red Cross store.
Uber and Australian Red Cross have partnered for 3 years to assist Aussies in need.
As part of the clothing drive, Uber is encouraging Aussie’s to clean out their closets and donate pre-loved clothes to Red Cross,
To kick off the Drive, Uber and the Australian Red Cross are running a Farewell Fashion Show, taking place on Thursday 31 May at Paddington Town Hall.
