Radio Futurologist, writer, consultant and public speaker, James Cridland will deliver the Keynote speech at this years NEMBC conference from the Queensland Multicultural Centre.
The Conference is representative of approximately 4,000 ethnic community broadcasters producing over 2000 hours of broadcasts per week in 110 languages nationally.
The event brings together government representatives, community leaders, academics, multicultural organisations, radio station managers and broadcasters from across Australia and is an opportunity for ethnic community broadcasters to network, discuss and debate key issues that relate to community broadcasting, the media and multicultural policies.
This year’s event will also be celebrating 40 years of Radio 4EB

- Dr. Tanja Dreher – ARC Future Fellow, Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts, University of Wollongong,
- Cathy Hunt – Director, Positive Solutions
- Juan Paolo Legaspi –Filipino Broadcaster and Chair of 5EBI
- Sulieni Layt –Radio 4EB- Pacific Islands
