James Findlay and Sajarn Stow join ABC Radio Darwin’s 2023 line up

ABC Radio Darwin will feature two new voices next year with James Findlay stepping into Afternoons and Sajarn Stow joining the Weekends team.

Acting Local Manager, Cherie Beach, says James and Sajarn would bring fresh takes to their respective programs, sharing Territory stories and conversations across the coming year.

James is already well-known to Territory audiences, having presented Saturday Breakfast since June.

James says,  “I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to share your stories from across the Territory next year. I really can’t wait to spend our afternoons together in 2023.”

James is an experienced radio producer, broadcaster, writer and journalist.  He has worked at ABC Radio Victoria, where he produced triple j programs including The Hook Up, as well as the Double J podcast Bang On, hosted by Myf Warhurst and Zan Rowe.

Sajarn Stow, will host Sunday Mornings until Jess Ong returns from leave later in 2023.

Sajarn is a Bindal Juru man from North Queensland.  He is a AFTRs graduate and arrived in the NT to join ABC Radio Darwin five years ago.

The station farewells its Evenings host Mikaela Simpson later this month.  Next year Mikaela will be heard on the national Local Radio Sunday Afternoons digital program.

A new host of Evenings will be announced shortly, and the new line up starts on Monday 16 January 2023.
