Jane Kennedy’s emotional farewell to Triple M and Mick Molloy

Jane Kennedy bid an emotional farewell on Triple M’s Kennedy Molloy, telling Mick Molloy that she “…will of course drop in” and that they will work together gain.

Jane has decided to quit the show and spend time with her five children saying “I thought I could juggle everything, and this is the highlight of my day, as you know, coming and seeing you guys and mucking around…I just felt I couldn’t do 100% with kids, and with a radio show and unfortunately these pesky five teenagers are going to have to come first.”

She also thanked Mick for his support behind the scenes telling listeners, “I don’t think people understand how much you do behind the scenes, and you never talk about it, and I’m not going to talk about it now, but I just want everyone to know that you’re such a good person.

“(You’re) also one of the first men in this country I will say, to absolutely insist on parity, which in this day and age of when you work in the workplace with men and women, there was no doubt that we’re treated as equals, and I just wanted to make sure that I let everybody know that from the word go, also even calling the show Kennedy Molloy… thank you very much for that Micky, that meant a lot.”

Mick will continue solo on the show that is now simply called Molloy
